At the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, Renowned Lebanese International Designer Elie Saab took the attendees on a journey to a world of magic during Paris Fashion Week. The designer conjured a fantasy world filled with the most beautiful high-end designs of silk, chiffon and velvet.
The show started with glamourous black designs with minimal embroidery, some of which were worn with black leather opera gloves for a more mysterious yet romantic effect as the Lebanese designer was inspired by Russian Khokhloma art. In addition, strong colors like olive and burgundy were seen in the first half of the collection. Later on, the collection unfolded into a pastel-color palette in pink beige and gold with layers of lace and floral details.
Saab, who added men’s couture to his lineup two years ago, has continued with strong looks for the men, including different embroidered, kimono-style coats.
As for the final look – la mariée gown – Elie Saab chose an ethereal embroidered gown of in pale beige and gold.
Along with always presenting his timeless creations , Elie Saab is growing, in new ways, a real estate project in the Middle East. For more details, checkout: Luxury Redefined: Elie Saab Waterfront by Ohana.
