Painted in soft pigments, traced in translucent layers and daubed with exquisite detail, Elie Saab Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2025 came to life like a painting in motion as the first model stepped onto the runway. Inspired by the dreamlike romance of an Impressionist garden, the collection was a delicate play of light, texture and artistry, where each look felt like a brushstroke in a luminous tableau.

As the sound of chirping birds echoed through the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, soft pastels washed over flowing silhouettes, their airy movement mirroring the flicker of light on water. Sculpted silk petals and shimmering beadwork bloomed on Portrait of a Dream—the name Elie Saab chose for his collection. Gowns in blush and celadon chiffon, as well as nude columns traced with silver shimmer, glowed in a golden haze.

Diaphanous tulle bloomed with gauzy camellias, while deep lapis denim draped like the petals of a modern rose. Trompe l’oeil embroidery and metallic-threaded braids wove through translucent layers, evoking painted light.

Then came the moment that everyone was waiting for, the grand finale—an ethereal, crystal-encrusted bridal masterpiece, dissolved into a breathtaking mist, blurring the lines between fashion and the art of Elie Saab.
