Tony Ward Couture FW25/26: « Entre rêve et regard »
Rim Nsouli
18-July-2025

For Fall/Winter 2025–26, Tony Ward presents a couture collection where fashion becomes performance, and identity takes center stage. Inspired by the worlds of masquerade and theatre, the collection draws richly from the Baroque era, reimagining its historical opulence through a modern, sculptural lens.
The designer explores transformation as an act of self-expression, replacing nostalgia with reinvention. Rich baroque embroidery, velvet devoré cut-outs, and hand-crafted 3D appliqués dominate the collection’s language…each element designed not for mere decoration, but to sculpt the body like modern armour. Corsetry provides structure to fluid forms, while voluminous sleeves, metallic layering, and sheer lace deliver commanding, theatrical silhouettes.
The palette is equally expressive. Cool blues and soft pinks meet the intensity of amber, deep crimson, and earthy neutrals shades that add emotional depth to the visual drama. Every material clash, every embroidered swirl, is choreographed to heighten the tension between dream and reality.
