Emma Stone Elevates the Bubble Skirt Trend at Venice Film Festival

Emma Stone turned the Venice Film Festival into her own runway with a dazzling twist on the bubble skirt. At the premiere of her new film Bugonia, the Oscar winner arrived in a custom Louis Vuitton creation that gave the once-divisive silhouette a couture-level revival.

The gown, styled by Petra Flannery, paired a sleek, sculpted bodice with sculptural volume, balancing playfulness and polish. The look featured a two-skirt design: a short, buoyant upper layer sitting over a slim, floor-length maxi. But it was the shimmering finish that made the look, silver sequins cascaded from the crystal straps down through every tier of the dress.

But Stone kept the rest of her styling clean and effortless. Her cropped hair, now softly grown out from her buzzcut in Bugonia, was left in relaxed waves, while her makeup leaned fresh and neutral.

Earlier the same day, she appeared at the Bugonia photo call in another Louis Vuitton look: A little black dress with ribbed detailing and an asymmetric lace overlay that fused structure with femininity.
