Rapper Nicky Minaj, 37, along with her husband Kenneth Petty welcomed their first child on Wednesday in Los Angeles. There's no word on the baby's gender or name just yet.
Minaj has announced her pregnancy on Instagram in July, alongside a set of glam snapshots featuring her baring her baby bump, and captioned #Preggers …Love. Marriage. Baby carriage. Overflowing with excitement & gratitude. Thank you all for the well wishes”.
The news came 10 months after she and Petty tied the knot and 10 months after Minaj announced her intention to retire and be full-focused on her family.
"I've decided to retire & have my family. I know you guys are happy now. To my fans, keep “reppin me”, “do it til da death of me””. she wrote on Twitter.
