Queen Rania of Jordan made an appearance in a bright pink suit during an official outing with her husband, King Abdullah II, proving once again she’s the unsung fashion icon of all royals.
On Tuesday March 30, Queen Rania of Jordan, 50, posted a picture with her husband on her official Instagram page. The royal couple visited a craft market in Amman, and was pictured viewing handicrafts from beneficiaries of The Productive Youth Initiative, an organization supporting young Jordanian designers: “It's always inspiring to see young people transform their talents into a promising projects” she captioned the photo. For the occasion, the Queen was dressed in head-to-toe pink, wearing a double breasted blazer jacket with black buttons and pleated pants. And she complimented the look with white pumps.
A Royal Pink
Traditionally associated with softness and innocence, candy pink has been having its own moments this season. A trend that Queen Rania, like many other royals, is appreciating. Indeed, Kate Middleton also went for some sugary tones of pink: shortly after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah Winfrey, the Duchess of Cambridge wore twice this luminous color. The pieces she opted for: a shirt with a lavallière collar and a coat by Max & Co.
Royals are not the only fans of the color pink, we are definitely adding this cheerful shade to our wardrobe this spring.
