Katie Holmes Throws It Back To The ‘90s With Her Mini Denim Skirt

If we agree on one thing, it’s that Katie Holmes can make sweatpants look chic, just the way she can revive a ‘90s trend and make it the coolest.

If I am to describe Katie Holmes style in two words, I would say effortlessly chic. It always seems like she did not put effort into her looks but she still rocks each and every one of them anyway, whether on the red carpet or off-duty. Recently, the 42 year-old actress has been reviving some 90’s trends when it comes to her fashion choices, and one of them is the mini denim skirt.

The Dawson's Creek star, who celebrated her daughter Suri turning 15 last month, stepped out in New York City on a shopping outing during which she bought some stuff at Ralph Lauren, Sephora and Santa Maria Novella.

Holmes chose a casual and comfy look, which is her signature style, but she did not do that without adding her own coveted vibe. She wore a mini high-waist A.P.C Stella denim skirt, and teamed it with a plain white t-shirt, a simple as that. And to accessorize the look, she chose Gucci Jordan Leather Loafers in black and a Givenchy 4G bag in black as well.  

The mother-of-one who’s never without her mask (she wore a plain black one), chose a pair of Marc Jacobs black-rimmed sunglasses to enhance the look.
