Media mogul Oprah Winfrey made a huge announcement earlier this week, which put her on the list of celebrities who are donating money to coronavirus relief efforts.
The most influential woman announced that she donated $10 million "to help Americans during this pandemic in cities across the country." Oprah announced the big news on her Instagram where she said that $1 million will go toward America's Food Fund, led by Laurene Powell Jobs, Apple, and Leonardo Di Caprio, to alleviate food insecurity. The remaining amount will be donated to other groups helping Americans during the pandemic.
