Taylor Swift Just Dropped a New Surprise

It seems that someone has been spending home quarantine writing and recording songs without saying a word. Taylor Swift surprised everyone by releasing a whole new album on Thursday as she announced suddenly that her new "Folklore" album is out, which is Swift's eighth studio album.

 

 

Taylor Swift's new album includes 16 songs, while the "Featured" version includes an additional song called “the lakes”, according to what the American pop singer pointed out via her Instagram account.

 

 

"Most of the things I had planned this summer didn't end up happening," she wrote, "But there is something I hadn't planned on that DID happen,” referring to her new album.

 

 

Swift, who had previous feuds with rapper Kanye West, wrote on Instagram: “In isolation my imagination has run wild and this album is the result, a collection of songs and stories that flowed like a stream of consciousness. Picking up a pen was my way of escaping into fantasy, history, and memory. I’ve told these stories to the best of my ability with all the love, wonder, and whimsy they deserve.”
