Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Welcome Baby Girl

A new member just joined the Royal family and she’s the daughter of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, Lilibet (Lili) Diana Mountbatten-Windsor. The couple announced on February 14th that they’re waiting for a baby girl and here she is now. She was born on the 4th of June in Santa Barbara, California.

After spending two days with their new born, the royal pair shared the news of Meghan’s delivery in a statement they provided to their Archewell charity on Sunday, June 6.

"On June 4, we were blessed with the arrival of our daughter, Lili. She is more than we could have ever imagined, and we remain grateful for the love and prayers we’ve felt from across the globe," the message from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex reads.

And for extra details about Lili, and where the name came from, the couple’s spokesperson said in a statement: “She weighed 7 lbs 11 oz. Both mother and child are healthy and well, and settling in at home”. And he continued: “Lili is named after her great-grandmother, Her Majesty The Queen, whose family nickname is Lilibet. Her middle name, Diana, was chosen to honor her beloved late grandmother, The Princess of Wales”.

You probably can’t wait for the baby’s pictures, us too! Meanwhile, let’s keep guessing how she would look like.
