Jennifer Lopez Looks Regal In Venice: Stunning In Dolce & Gabbana Cape and Crown

This weekend, pop star and actress Jennifer Lopez stole hearts and minds as she arrived to Venice to attend the Alta Moda show by Dolce & Gabbana, in a royal-worthy ensemble.

The singer who’s been spotted on vacation with the love of her life Ben Affleck last month, looked like a beauty queen in Venice. Here, no paparazzi snapping pictures of her and Ben in restaurants kissing, nor holding hands on a yacht, and no pics of Ben Affleck himself. Instead, a royal arrival amassing more than 4 million likes on the singer’s Instagram account of 173 million followers.

J.Lo appeared in a bold green silk floral cape under which slipped a crystal bra and brocade pants, signed by Dolce & Gabbana. Wearing a floral crown, she polished up her look with a pair of platform sandals and a small woven handbag.

First fashion show in St. Mark's Square

This jaw-dropping look, which proved that IRL fashion shows are truly back, is in line with the Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda show of which she was a guest and that took place in Venice on August 29, 2021. The event brought together 400 rich clients and celeb guests (we also saw Monica Bellucci, Kitty Spencer and Helen Mirren). For the first time, Saint Mark's Square hosted a fashion show that mixed carnival with Fellini-esque storytelling. The collection was presented by gondola that offloaded a procession of models at the Servizio pier, next to the Doge's Palace.

All in all, there were over 100 different looks that walked the runway. The show was a celebration of high Italian craftsmanship, and Venetian history and culture.
