Maya Hawke pays tribute to her mother’s iconic hairstyle

Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke’s daughter, who showed up at Venice International Film Festival with perfectly brushed fringed bob, is in line with her mother and her cult hairstyle in Quentin Tarantino’s movie.

The dance of Uma Thurman and John Travolta in Pulp Fiction movie directed by Quentin Tarantino in 1994, allowed the actress with the fringed bob hairstyle to show up in the mythical hairstyles of the seventh art.

26 years later, her daughter Maya Hawke appeared on the red carpet of the Venice Film Festival with the same hairstyle. While attending the Film Festival to promote her latest drama movie Mainstream directed by Gia Coppola in 2020, in which she co-stars with Andrew Garfield, Maya Hawke had her moment at the red carpet.

With a nude dress signed by Atelier Versace, a matching facemask, a bob cut with the perfect rounded fringe, Maya Hawke was almost the exact copy of Mia Wallace’s character in Pulp Fiction movie. Noting that the Stranger Things actress is usually less known for such 90’s inspired straight hair, and more for her natural wavy hairstyle.

It is always good to see this cult hairstyle again that marked her mother's career. In April, Urma posted a picture on Instagram, as she was giving her daughter a haircut at home, as a result of lockdown. It seems that the fringed bob is a legacy passing from mother to daughter.
