Mark your calendars! The first of March is just around the corner and it marks the beginning of the long-waited-for Paris Fashion Week for the ready-to-wear Autumn/winter 2021-2022 shows, and three Middle Eastern designers are taking part in it.
As the provisional calendar has been released, where the fashion shows and presentations held until the 9th of March, a final calendar will determine and specify the format of the ready-to-wear presentations.
Lebanese designers Elie Saab, Rabih Kayrouz as well as Dubai-based designer Kristina Fidelskaya are going to take part in the upcoming PFW.
Elie Saab will unveil his collection on Saturday, March 6 at 3.30pm. As for the Lebanese house, Maison Rabih Kayrouz, the collection will be presented the same day ar 10:30 am and Kristina Fidelskaya will follow at 11.30am.
Live events during the PFW are unlikely to be frequently seen, due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, and most fashion houses are going for digital shows with no audience.
On a side note, Elie Saab, Georges Hobeika and Zuhair Murad, all three withdrew from the recent Paris Haute Couture week, in order to bring their designs to life in “happier times”.
