Luxury Fashion Houses are Making Medical Facemasks
Contributing to the war against Covid-19

Instead of designs gowns, the fashion world is now working on producing new facemasks to join the battle against the coronavirus.
Prada
Prada will now on be focusing on designing facemasks instead of elegant blazers. Prada said that it would produce 110,000 masks by the 6th of April.
Chanel
The French luxury fashion house will also join in making facemasks to help French healthcare, but it must be approved by French authorities before mass-production.
Gucci, Saint Laurent and Balenciaga by Kering Group
Also, Gucci announced that it is manufacturing more than 1M facemasks. Saint Laurent and Balenciaga owned as well by Kering Group will begin manufacturing them.
Dior, Fendi, Louis Vuitton, and Givenchy, by LVMH
The luxury LVMH company announced that it will supply the French authorities with more than 40m face masks in the coming weeks.
Burberry
Burberry announced that it will deliver 100,000 surgical masks to the UK National Health Service, for use by medical staff.
Ralph Lauren
The American fashion brand is starting the production of 250,000 masks and 25,000 isolation gowns to aid in the fight against coronavirus.
