International Celebrities Showing Love to Lebanon

Beiru-shima is now the new term that is used to define to biggest explosion that has ever happened in Lebanon, ranking the third place after Nagasaki and Hiroshima atomic bomb, leaving dozens of deaths, thousands of injured and hundreds of homeless.

After Arab celebrities expressed their anger, sadness and fear over this historical disaster, stars from over the world showed support and solidarity with people of Lebanon through Instagram, and invited their fans and followers to donate for Lebanon’s relief.

 

Jennifer Lopez

“Dinero” songstress posted a series of stories on Instagram yesterday calling everyone to donate for Lebanon’s relief. In one of her stories, she wrote: "Pray for Beirut" with a swipe link to donate to the Lebanese Red Cross.



 

Celine Dion

The Canadian star went on Instagram to express her deep sadness and solidarity with Lebanese people in a post as she wrote: “I’m heartbroken by the terrible disaster in Beirut. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their families and the wonderful people of Lebanon. I’m thinking of you and I wish you love and peace.”

 

 

 

Naomi Campbell

The Supermodel expressed her solidarity with Lebanon, her own way; she shared some photos of her previous photoshoot in Beirut downtown, wearing a long red robe embracing “I heart Beirut” statue. Naomi wrote: “My thoughts, prayers and love go out to the people of Lebanon and their families.”

The supermodel mom-to-be shared recently a story on her Instagram explaining to her followers what had happened in Lebanon on August 4th and called everyone to donate to the UNICEF.

Her sister supermodel also showed her solidarity with Lebanese people, as she shared a before and after picture of Beirut port, which has become devastated after the blast.

The “7 ring” singer announced that she will donate to Impact Lebanon for Lebanon’s relief and asked everyone to do the same through her Instagram story, as she said: “My heart, my love, my condolences are with Lebanon and everyone affected by this tragedy. Please share and swipe up to support/ donate if you are able to, I will be doing so as well.”

 

 

 

Victoria Beckham

The English designer, whose label is struggling after covid-19, showed her support to Lebanon after reposting Lebanon’s flag on her story and wrote: “Thinking of all those affected by the awful events in Lebanon.” She also called everyone to donate to Impact Lebanon.

 

 

 

Kim Kardashian

The reality TV star Kim Kardashian West did not miss the chance to stand in solidarity with people of Lebanon as well; she shared a picture on her stories saying: “Pray for Beirut”

 

 

 

Dua Lipa

The English singer and songwriter also invited her followers to donate for Lebanon’s relief, after explaining that “ Lebanon is in crisis and now after today need us more than ever.”
