Hair trends from SS21 Fashion Weeks

With the end of Paris Fashion week, we can say the fashion month left us with some great iconic looks to get inspired from. Ever since the fall season started and we’re spotting hair trends trying to find our inspiration. We started with Kate Middleton’s simple but remarkable twist until we got the Fashion weeks’ runways. From New York on to Paris, with our radars on, we spotted some of the hair trends that will serve you well this season and the coming one. Keep scrolling to know more!

I woke up like this

It’s a secret, but yes we’re falling for the “I woke up like this” trend, because we can finally wake up and leave to work on rainy days with 0 hair effort, and still be trendy. Messy, or let’s say beautifully messy hair was seen frequently on the runways: Giambattista Valli’s model walked with natural hair textures, while models wore some headbands over a messy coiffure in Erdem as if they were saying “I give 0 cares to what you think and I’m beautiful anyway”. These hairstyles say so much about confidence.

The Wet Hair

Yes, we’ve seen wet looks before, but on the SS21 runways, it’s not just about the casual slicked-back wet roots hair (Like we saw at Acne Studios), but it’s also about all the spins made to this bold hairstyle. At Giorgio Armani, the wet look is fixed and tidied more than ever, while it was more spontaneous in Versace. You can talk about confidence with David Coma’s classy wet hair look.

Pin Art

Pins are still here, in all forms and all sizes and we want each and every design now! Artfully placed clusters of bobby pins held back models' hair into finger wave-like shapes in Dries Van Noten's SS21 look book. We loved the simple but beautiful “Coco” pin from Chanel.

Outstanding braids

Braids are always a great idea when it comes to windy and rainy weather, as it’s one of the best ways to keep your hair on fleek during winter.

The low-key braid at Giambattista Valli can be the best if you have a short hair.
