Can Clothes Transmit Coronavirus?
Now we have a clear answer to that

We’re still learning about the coronavirus and how to prevent it, especially when it comes to our clothing; we don’t have a clear answer on whether garments can transmit the virus. Here are some answers.
Can the virus live on clothes? If so, for how long?
The World Health Organization (WHO) reported that it is difficult to accurately estimate the lifespan of the virus on surfaces in general. It could vary from a few hours to several days depending on the type of material, textiles included.
According to Harvard Health experts, Covid-19 tends to hang more easily on porous surfaces than on fabrics. This generally depends on the type of surface, the ambient temperature and the humidity level, as explained by the National Institute of Health and Medical Research in France
Can we be contaminated from our clothes?
The virus is transmitted more through an infected person than through contact with contaminated objects. However, this does not prevent an infected surface from being liable to transmit the virus if, for example, the person touches his face without having washed his hands.
Are certain textiles more likely than others to carry the virus?
Experts say porous fibers like polyester are likely to hold the virus longer than just cotton. Anyway, any type of textile can hold the virus for a few hours, even the gloves you wear to protect yourself. The same goes for buttons and zippers.
What to do to get rid of Covid-19 from a garment?
The best thing to do after going outside is to take your clothes off before entering the door. Put them for 24 hours in a closed garbage bag to prevent any contact with other textiles. The virus should go away within a few hours.
