Naomi Campbell Becomes First-time Mom at 50 and Shares Pictures

Supermodel Naomi Campbell announced becoming a mother through a picture on both Instagram and Twitter.

Congratulations are in order for Naomi Campbell who has welcomed her first child on Tuesday May 18 as she chose to share the news with her 10.4 million fans and followers on Instagram:

 

“A beautiful little blessing has chosen me to be her mother, so honored to have this gentle soul in my life there are no words to describe the lifelong bond that I now share with you my angel. There is no greater love”.

 

 

Not only her words were as sweet and touching, but also the photograph she shared. It was of her hand cradling a pair of tiny resting feet. The minute she posted it, the 50-year-old first-mom started receiving congratulations comments from designers and celebrities. Marc Jacobs, Giambattista Valli, Donatella Versace and more were on the list, wishing her and her baby to be blessed. Heidi Klum and Sophie turner were also among the celebrities who stepped up and congratulated the London-based model.

 

“Oh My God!!! Today is the day? How absolutely incredible. How lucky she is and how lucky you are! What a wonderful mother you’ll be. Blessings all around”.

 

As no further details on the baby were available, and with Campbell telling the “Evening standard” in 2017 that she wants to become a mom: “I think about having children all the time. But now with the way science is I think I can do it when I want”, we think that she either adopted this little angel or she used a surrogate. Either ways, we are so happy for her and we can’t wait to see more photos of the baby.
