Nina Ricci’s Fall/Winter 2024-2025 Collection by Harris Reed

24-May-2024
Harris Reed, creative director of Nina Ricci, revealed the third collection with the house for the fall and winter 2024-2025 season, which was a tribute to the house’s legacy.
The idea of this collection was inspired by an old photo taken by the famous photographer Richard Avedon in 1962, of the star Suzy Parker wearing a design by Nina Ricci while she was on Avenue Montaigne in Paris. Through this photo, he saw the idea of reviving the essence of femininity, fragility and strength of modern women.
From fine tailoring to geometric cuts, Reed created designs that either concealed or revealed some details. He used different types of fabrics to create some contrasts between strength and fragility, such as lace, silk, crepe and leather.
