Drake Launches A Fashion Collection To Support Beirut
A Tribute To The Cedar Of Lebanon

The massive port explosion that devastated Beirut on August 4, causing horrific damages, and leaving 200 dead, thousands of injured and hundreds of thousands homeless, was a shock not only to Lebanon, but to the world. Celebrities and NGOs rushed to support Beirut and its people, and donations as well as initiatives are still taking place to help the victims as quickly as possible.
American rapper Drake is the latest celebrity to launch an initiative to support the relief effort; his OVO label, co-owned by Lebanese-Canadians Oliver El-Khatib and Noah “40” Shebib, is launching a limited edition collection, The Cedar of Lebanon, of t-shirts and hoodies which feature the Lebanese flag embedded into the wing of OVO’s famous owl logo.
The merch will be sold exclusively online on October 7, and all proceeds will be donated to the Lebanese Red Cross, in aid of the victims of the Beirut port explosion.
